This week I was really happy that I got to lead a workshop for church communication directors about photography for churches. Places of worship in person are beautiful and inspirational. When photographed the beauty is often lost. The architectural interiors in a church are easy enough, but the problem is, churches usually have people in them and capturing a clear picture is often difficult. Budget limitations often make it impossible for churches to get the best equipment for low light pictures. After spending the morning trading ideas we decided to go on a field trip to capture some images and then practice optimizing them in Lightroom, my favorite image program.
